Pastel Nagomi Art Course
Overview:
Harmony pastel art is a therapeutic finger-painting technique created by Mr. Norikazu Hosokawa in 2002. This art form involves using translucent colored powders applied with fingers on paper to achieve harmony, tranquility, and joy. No prior artistic background is required, making it suitable for everyone.
Course Content:
The harmony pastel class will teach participants how to use the soft characteristics of dry pastels. Participants will learn to apply the powder gently onto paper using their fingers and simple tools, culminating in the creation of a beautiful artwork.
Materials Provided:
1 box of dry pastels
15 sheets of drawing paper (15cm x 15cm)
Eraser
Sketch eraser
1 cutter
Cotton swabs
Makeup sponges
1 palette
Stencil paper
1 roll of tape (1.5cm wide)
Plastic bag
Instructor Certification:
All instructors are certified as “Registered Harmony Pastel Instructors” by the Japanese Harmony Pastel Association (JPHAA).
Duration:
The course consists of 6 sessions.
